Instant Karma: Amnesty International Campaign
naoさん@mdlm経由で知ったアムネスティ・インターナショナルのMake Some Noiseキャンペーンのひとつ、Instant Karmaというアルバム。収益金はスーダンのダルフール危機に関する活動などに役立てられるそうで、知らないアーティストもいたけど、アルバムで購入しました。

英文ですが、キャンペーンの目的、アルバムに収録されている曲のサンプル（>The Music）、キャンペーンのビデオ（>The Darfur Crisis>What people are saying）などが見れます。
そこから辿り着いたEyes On Darfurというサイトには、破壊された村々の様子のサテライトイメージがあります。こんなのを見ながらImagineを聴くと、かなりぐっと来るものあり… すごい曲だ。（自分のメモ用に歌詞貼付けちゃう。）

先日観た映画 “Favela Rising” のAfroReggaeもこのキャンペーンに参加していますが、アルバムに入っていなかったので別個でダウンロードしました。Jack JohnsonのImagineも良いですが、AfroReggaeのImagineはもっと好き。
その他にもBen HarperやU2、Lenny Kravitz、 Aerosmith、Duran Duran (!) などなど。もりもりなアルバム。
ここ数日これしか聴いてません。:)
